Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Verne Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Chase is better than the Catch by Motorhead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Liam Bourne is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bourne is looking for a triangle but Robinson pushes his legs off easily.
Robinson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

My spies in Ippon Top Team inform me that Robinson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Bourne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.

Robinson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bourne can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Robinson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bourne in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bourne to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
