Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamish Gaffney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes into the arena with AC/DC - TNT blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaffney has a takedown stuffed.
Gaffney throws a series of punches but Patton moves out of range.
Patton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gaffney has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Gaffney steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Patton. That one must have hurt.

Gaffney shoots in and bounces Patton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Patton is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Gaffney presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Gaffney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Patton tries to avoid it but Gaffney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Patton to the ground. Patton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Patton throws a front kick aimed at Gaffney's knee but Gaffney avoids it well.
Patton scores with a hook to the body. Gaffney takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
