The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayers tries a low kick but Yellowbird avoids it.

Yellowbird clinches.
Ayers misses with a knee to the head.

Ayers breaks from the clinch.

Ayers closes the distance and pushes Yellowbird back into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ayers shoots in but Yellowbird avoids the takedown attempt easily.

As Yellowbird looks to move away, Ayers throws a big counter combo but Yellowbird just gets out of the way.

and Yellowbird counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yellowbird is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Ayers hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
