The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Battle gets a double leg takedown into Smith's guard.

Battle wants to take the fight to the mat but Smith manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Smith stops a takedown attempt from Battle.

Smith drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smith jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Battle wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Smith has taken Battle's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Battle has been forced to tap!
