Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxx Decker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Decker has chosen Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes as his entrance music. Maxx Decker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxx Decker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Decker moves out of range as Haynes throws a body kick.
Decker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Decker misses with the combination.
Decker closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Dallas Haynes has been cut.

Decker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Haynes's guard.
Haynes trying to keep a closed guard but Decker is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decker content to stall in guard here.
Haynes is controlling Decker's posture.

Decker throwing strikes but missing.
Decker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Decker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haynes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Decker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Decker controls from within his opponent's guard.
Decker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haynes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Decker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Haynes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Haynes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Haynes controls Decker momentarily but Decker frees himself.
Decker tries to free his leg and advance position but Haynes is retaining full guard.
Decker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Haynes pushes Decker off and gets back to his feet.

Decker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Haynes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Decker pressing his opponent against the cage.
Haynes is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Haynes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Decker has him pressed against the cage.
Haynes tries to pull guard but Decker won't allow it.

Decker misses with a knee to the head.
Decker crunches a lovely knee into Haynes's ribcage.
Haynes fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dallas Haynes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haynes tries to pull guard but Decker forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Haynes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Decker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Decker throws a leg kick but Haynes checks it.
Decker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Decker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Decker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Decker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Haynes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Decker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Haynes to the ground. Decker is now in Haynes's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maxx Decker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dallas Haynes's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Haynes tries to move into range but Decker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Decker throws a low kick but Haynes moves out of range easily.
Decker scores with a three punch combo!

Decker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haynes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Decker is in Haynes's guard.
Decker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Decker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Decker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Decker postures up and lands a big shot to Haynes's brow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Decker controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Decker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Haynes's head.

Haynes is trying to keep Decker in close.
Decker controls from within his opponent's guard.
Decker trying to move into half guard but instead Haynes has managed to sweep!

Decker controlling the position.
Haynes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Haynes stands up over Decker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Decker wants to sweep but no luck.
Maxx Decker has got the better of the ground game so far.
Haynes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Haynes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Haynes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Haynes stands up and waves to Decker to follow him.

Decker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Decker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Haynes throws Decker to one side and escapes!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Decker misses with a few strikes there.
Haynes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Decker with a hook.
Haynes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Haynes throws a low kick, looking for Decker's leg but Decker calmly moves out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Decker!


Haynes is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Haynes get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Haynes stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Decker runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Maxx Decker!
Maxx Decker decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
