Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chester Barcelona!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcelona tries for a takedown but Boy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Boy misses the target.
Barcelona tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barcelona somewhat.
Boy swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Jay Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chester Barcelona.

Barcelona shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Boy is trying to defend but Barcelona finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Barcelona is controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy wants to control but Barcelona is keeping busy.

Barcelona closes the distance and clinches up with Boy, looking for a takedown. Barcelona pushes Boy against the cage but Boy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Boy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Barcelona fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boy avoids it really well and circles away.

A little feinted left hand from Boy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Barcelona takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chester Barcelona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barcelona.
Boy quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
It looks like Boy has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Jay Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Boy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Boy lands a jab.
Boy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Barcelona is rocked!
Boy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Barcelona is still on wobbly legs! Can Boy finish him?
Barcelona shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
and Boy counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Barcelona! He's just covering up as Boy starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

After the fight, Jay Boy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
