The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow keeps the fight on the outside.

Degeneres closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morrow quickly recovers to half guard.

Morrow pushes Degeneres off and gets back to his feet.
Morrow fails with a takedown attempt.
Degeneres shoots in looking for a takedown. Morrow tries to sprawl out of it but Degeneres keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morrow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morrow shoots in for a takedown but Degeneres shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Morrow throws a leg kick but Degeneres sees it coming and moves out of range.
Morrow throws a head kick that misses.
Morrow closes the distance and clinches up with Degeneres, looking for a takedown. Morrow pushes Degeneres against the cage but Degeneres circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morrow misses with a kick to the body.
Degeneres fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Degeneres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Degeneres shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morrow as he jumps to the side.
Morrow dives in and grabs Degeneres's left leg, looking for a takedown. Degeneres pushes down on Morrow's head and hops out.

Degeneres rushes Morrow and presses him up against the cage.
Degeneres tries for a takedown. No joy.

Degeneres jumps into guard, dragging Morrow to the mat.

Morrow is posturing up here but Degeneres has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Morrow tries to roll out but it's too tight and Morrow has to tap! Slick submission there by Degeneres!
