Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moises Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CT Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne with a poor takedown

and Osborn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Osborn manages to break the clinch.
Payne closes this distance looking for a takedown but Osborn circles away.
Payne shoots in for a takedown but Osborn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moises Osborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CT Payne.

Payne fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Osborn to the ground. Payne is now in Osborn's guard.
Osborn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Osborn wants to sweep here but Payne controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Osborn wants to get back to his feet but Payne is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Payne working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Osborn's head.
Payne trying to control but Osborn is working from the bottom.
Payne postures up in Osborn's guard and throws a big left but Osborn blocks it.
Osborn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Payne connects with a couple of short punches.
Osborn keeping moving, preventing Payne from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Payne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Osborn striking off his back but it's not causing Payne any problems.
Osborn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Payne misses with a left hand

and Osborn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Osborn stands up from Payne's guard - Osborn perhaps looking for a knockout.

Payne takes the fight into the clinch.
Payne avoids the elbow strike from Osborn, against the cage.
Payne is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Payne changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Osborn fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Payne closes the distance and clinches up with Osborn, looking for a takedown. Payne pushes Osborn against the cage but Osborn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Osborn counters by moving into the clinch.
Osborn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Osborn dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Payne wants a takedown.

Osborn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Osborn gets caught flat footed, as Payne shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Osborn wants to sweep but no luck.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Payne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Osborn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Osborn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Payne manages to get himself to full guard.

Osborn drops back looking for a leg! Payne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Payne manages to kick Osborn off! Osborn jumps back into Payne's guard.
Osborn is breathing heavily.

Osborn gets to his feet. Payne looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Payne closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Osborn quickly recovers to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Moises Osborn will probably get the nod.
That's time! Osborn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Payne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Osborn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Osborn lands a little strike from the bottom.
Osborn is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Payne's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Osborn wants to control but Payne is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Payne takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Osborn wants to get back to his feet.
Osborn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Osborn has hold of Payne's hands but Payne slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payne lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Osborn quite badly. Osborn pulls Payne in close trying to recover. Payne postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Osborn on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Osborn doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
