PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Woodward Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Bleeding. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Woodward Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morgan Wade!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass throws a series of punches but Wade avoids them all with ease.
Despite the aggression on Wade's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Glass throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wade.
Wade has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Glass is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wade looks to score with a jab to the body but Glass is just out of range.
We've been told by Glass's head coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Glass checks a leg kick.
Glass closes the distance looking to clinch
and Wade counters with a two punch combo.
Glass will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Glass rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wade circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Glass drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wade follows Glass to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
