The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Daniels gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.
Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Allen is working for takedown but Daniels is calmly controlling the position for now.
Allen has Daniels pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Daniels manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hilario Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Daniels has Allen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Daniels pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Allen tumbling to the mat - Daniels dives into Allen's guard.
Daniels has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Allen is proving hard to escape from.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Allen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daniels on the ground.

It looks like Daniels might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Daniels wants to stand but Allen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Allen moves into the clinch.

Daniels has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Allen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Daniels to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Daniels pulls down on the head and he's put Allen to sleep! This one is all over!
