Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe has chosen Noah Gundersen - Oh Death as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Nada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Slim Crowe!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe scores with a shot to the body.
Nada lands with an overhand left.
Nada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nada darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Nada throwing shots but Crowe is blocking nicely.
Nada throws a strike but Crowe avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Nada looking to sit in guard and control but Crowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Nada not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nada is on top in guard.

Nada throwing strikes from guard but Crowe blocks nicely.
Nada missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Nada postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Crowe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Crowe is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture.

Nada content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Nada trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Crowe keeping full guard, as Nada tries to pass.
Nada trying to move into half guard but instead Crowe has managed to sweep!

Nada trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Crowe manages to pass to mount!
Nada tries to improve his position but instead Crowe has taken his back!

Crowe trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Nada doesn't escape.
Nada wants to escape the position.
Crowe keeps control of the position easily here as Nada tries to buck him off.
Nada looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nada is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Crowe.
Nada trying to control the position but Crowe manages to sink in the hooks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Good control from Crowe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slim Crowe dominated that round.
That's time! Nada's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Crowe throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nada misses with a wild body shot.
And Crowe responds with a good body kick, but Nada manages to step out the way in time.
Crowe feints and then cracks Nada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nada down.

Crowe throws an overhand right that lands on Nada's shoulder, as Nada tries to avoid the shot.
Nada works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Crowe throws a leg kick but Nada sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crowe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Crowe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nada misses with a looping left.
Crowe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nice body punch from Crowe.
Crowe tries to land a front kick but Nada steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Frank Nada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nada is defended easily by Crowe.
Nada scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Crowe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nada misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crowe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nada throws a hook but Crowe blocks it.
Crowe swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Nada scores with a counter punch that sends Crowe to the canvas! Nada smells blood - he's punishing Crowe with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Crowe has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
