Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irl Duststorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Blackwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Irl Duststorm!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackwell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blackwell lands in his opponent's guard.
Duststorm preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Blackwell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Duststorm being controlled here, momentarily.
Blackwell connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blackwell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duststorm works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Blackwell prevents Duststorm from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duststorm keeping moving, preventing Blackwell from controlling successfully.
Blackwell is stalling in the full guard.
Duststorm wants to stand up but Blackwell is controlling him.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Blackwell wants to control from the top but Duststorm keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Blackwell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A punch combination from Blackwell misses.
As Blackwell backs off Duststorm throws a huge counter combo but Blackwell manages to avoid it all.
Duststorm closes the distance and clinches up with Blackwell, looking for a takedown. Duststorm pushes Blackwell against the cage but Blackwell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Duststorm misses with a few strikes there.
A head kick misses from Blackwell.
Blackwell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Blackwell looks for the body kick but Duststorm saw that one coming.

Blackwell shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Duststorm has one foot on Blackwell's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Duststorm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blackwell darts in and clinches Duststorm up against the cage.

Blackwell wants to break free but Duststorm has control.

Blackwell is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Duststorm to keep the fight standing.
Duststorm has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Blackwell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Isaac Blackwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Irl Duststorm.
Blackwell has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Duststorm after a bit of a struggle.

Blackwell gets control of Duststorm's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blackwell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Isaac Blackwell will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Duststorm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blackwell is fending him off so far but Duststorm persists. Nope, Blackwell circles away and we're back to standing.
Duststorm dives in for a single leg takedown but Blackwell sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Blackwell wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Duststorm swats away the attempt to clinch by Blackwell.
Blackwell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Blackwell wants to clinch up but Duststorm keeps it at a distance.
Duststorm is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Blackwell with a body shot.

Blackwell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Blackwell distracts Duststorm with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duststorm takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Nice strikes from Duststorm there.
Duststorm thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Duststorm looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blackwell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, if Duststorm is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Duststorm misses with a head shot. Blackwell uses the momentum to regain guard.

Duststorm stands up and waves to Blackwell to follow him.
Duststorm feints a jab promting Blackwell to slip. Duststorm then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blackwell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


Blackwell is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Irl Duststorm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Duststorm dives in and grabs Blackwell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blackwell pushes down on Duststorm's head and hops out.


It looks like Isaac Blackwell has been cut.
Blackwell throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Duststorm's head.
A slapping body kick lands there for Blackwell.
Duststorm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blackwell defends it nicely.

Blackwell gets tackled into the cage by Duststorm. Duststorm maintains the clinch.

Blackwell wants to get back to striking at distance but Duststorm won't allow it.

Blackwell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Duststorm is trying to keep an underhook but Blackwell manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Duststorm manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Duststorm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Duststorm has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Blackwell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Duststorm wants the takedown. Blackwell is fighting it off but Duststorm persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Blackwell's guard against the cage.

Blackwell has his feet on Duststorm's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blackwell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Duststorm takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Blackwell slaps away a takedown attempt from Duststorm, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duststorm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blackwell as he jumps to the side.
Blackwell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duststorm.

Blackwell takes the fight into the clinch.

Blackwell tries to work over Duststorm's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Blackwell tries for a takedown but Duststorm manages to get underhooks.
Blackwell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Blackwell is looking to break free of the clinch but Duststorm has double underhooks.
Duststorm goes for a takedown in the clinch but Blackwell prevents it.
Duststorm tries to throw a body punch but Blackwell avoids it by throwing Duststorm back against the cage.

Blackwell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Duststorm is aware though and is defending well.

Duststorm stands up and waves to Blackwell to follow him.
Blackwell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duststorm tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Duststorm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Blackwell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Duststorm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blackwell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Isaac Blackwell.
I think Blackwell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
