Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Mcclain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callabas Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rolando Mcclain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Callabas Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fisher closes the distance and pushes Mcclain back into the cage.

Mcclain pulls Fisher into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fisher distracts Mcclain with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Fisher throwing strikes from guard but Mcclain blocks nicely.
Mcclain looking to control.
Fisher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcclain is keeping the position for now.
Fisher working some strikes from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fisher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fisher looking to sit in guard and control but Mcclain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcclain wants to get up but he can't break Fisher's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fisher trying to keep a closed guard but Mcclain is proving a slippery customer.
Mcclain wants to stand and escape but instead Fisher has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Fisher engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Fisher trying to control but Mcclain is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mcclain working for a triangle but Fisher defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fisher's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mcclain could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fisher is looking to advance position but Mcclain has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fisher tries to hold on but Mcclain pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mcclain jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fisher manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Mcclain stands up.
Fisher goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Mcclain gets caught flat footed, as Fisher shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Mcclain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fisher defends well.
Fisher with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fisher looking to sit in guard and control but Mcclain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fisher looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mcclain gets to his feet - Fisher follows without any prompting.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fisher scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fisher looks winded!
Fisher tries to advance to mount but Mcclain denies him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Callabas Fisher dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Fisher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mcclain manages to get back to half guard.
Mcclain tries to roll over but Fisher keeps him under control.
Mcclain manages to get to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fisher stands up and waves to Mcclain to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fisher takes the fight into the clinch.
Mcclain fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fisher avoids a wild elbow strike from Mcclain.

Fisher is trying to trip Mcclain. He has hold of a leg but Mcclain is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fisher persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Mcclain has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Fisher has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Mcclain has had enough of the clinch but Fisher keeps him there for the moment.
Fisher is trying to maintain a safe position but Mcclain gets an underhook and turns Fisher into the cage.

Mcclain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcclain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fisher backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fisher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcclain sprawls well initially but Fisher persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Mcclain manages to get to full guard.

Mcclain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fisher is aware though and is defending well.

Fisher stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Mcclain has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Fisher manages to get his head free but now Mcclain has transitioned to an armbar! Fisher grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Mcclain! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rolando Mcclain!
