The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. de Silva sprawls well initially but bain persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
bain is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
bain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
bain wants to pass the guard but de Silva is defending well.
de Silva trying to control but bain postures up.
de Silva wants to improve his position but bain is controlling well.
bain wants to work for an arm triangle but de Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

de Silva pushes bain off looking to stand but bain dives back in and keeps control.

de Silva throws a leg kick which misses bain's front leg but catches the back leg as bain tries to avoid it.
