PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Fournier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgregor has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Conor Mcgregor looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor rushes Fournier and presses him up against the cage.
Mcgregor is breathing heavily.
Fournier has Mcgregor pressed against the cage, preventing Mcgregor from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mcgregor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fournier blocks an elbow strike.

Fournier gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Mcgregor looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mcgregor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fournier on the ground.
Fournier is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like Fournier might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fournier drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Fournier seems to have locked his on tight now - Mcgregor screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Fournier, as he picks up the win!
