Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Nufir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ottis Toole Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toole Jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nufir at a distance.
Nufir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Toole Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Toole Jr wants to counter with a clinch but Nufir pushes him away.
Nufir fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nufir misses with a jab, cross combination.

Toole Jr forces Nufir back against the cage and clinches.
Nufir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Toole Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Toole Jr lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Nufir is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Toole Jr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Toole Jr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nufirs head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Toole Jr has Nufir pressed against the cage, preventing Nufir from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Nufir jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toole Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Nufir gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nufir is breathing heavily.
Nufir takes one to the side of the head.
Toole Jr connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Nufir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Toole Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Toole Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Toole Jr getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Toole Jr sends Nufir crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Toole Jr is motioning to the referee to let Nufir up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Nufir is rocked!
Nufir tries to close the distance and clinch but Toole Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Nufir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been told by Nufir's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Toole Jr lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Nufir - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Toole Jr!
