The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bradford manages to avoid it.
Bradford misses with a takedown attempt

and Rousee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bradford won't be happy with that.

Bradford throws Rousee to one side and escapes!

Bradford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rousee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rousee is looking to take a break and control but Bradford is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rousee throws a right hand that Bradford ducks under and follows up with a left that Bradford also avoids with ease.
Rousee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bradford tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rousee defends well and Bradford ends up having to push Rousee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
