The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight throws a jab when Asbra was well out of range.
A head kick by Knight misses
and Asbra counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Asbra lands a head kick!

It looks like Ellis Knight has been cut.
Asbra thows a left - swing and a miss!
Asbra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knight.
Knight waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Asbra.
Asbra takes a swing at Knight's ribcage but misses.
Knight let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Asbra throws a nice looking combination but Knight bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Knight catches Asbra with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Asbra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Knight misses with a straight left.
Ellis Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asbra scores with a sloppy right hand. Knight should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Asbra connects with an inside leg kick.
Knight showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Asbra.
Asbra lands with an uppercut that bounces Knight off the cage and back into range.

Knight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Asbra was well out of range. Poor timing from Knight.
Asbra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Asbra jabs Knight right on the nose. Knight blinks but takes it well.

Knight is rocked!
Knight is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Asbra is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Knight flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Knight is out cold! Asbra holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
