The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumlakar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nickal as he avoids it easily.
Nickal looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kumlakar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And Nickal tries to counter it with a takedown but Kumlakar pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've been told by Kumlakar's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kumlakar walks into a left hand.
Kumlakar dives in and grabs Nickal 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nickal pushes down on Kumlakar's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joyo Kumlakar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kumlakar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nickal throws out the jab.
A cross from Nickal lands.
Kumlakar has a takedown stuffed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kumlakar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nickal connects with a nice looking jab.
Nickal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kumlakar.
Kumlakar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
No luck for Kumlakar with that takedown attempt.

Nickal looks up at the clock and then as Kumlakar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nickal smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kumlakar is looking to regain half guard here but Nickal keeps moving and retains side control.

Nickal lands a strong strike to the head of Kumlakar. That's dazed him! Nickal looking to finish here. Kumlakar is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Nickal lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
