The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dahmer as he jumps to the side.

Scott scores with a takedown into Dahmer's guard.
Dahmer wants to get back to his feet but Scott is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dahmer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Scott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dahmer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Scott has Dahmer in his guard.
Dahmer wants to stand but Scott has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Scott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dahmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Scott is looking for a triangle here but Dahmer uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Dahmer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Scott to his feet.

Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dahmer's head.
Dahmer wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Scott fails to move to back control.

Scott looking to isolate an arm here. Dahmer doesn't see it coming and as Scott extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Scott!
