Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Sombero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorik Berisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Sombero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Sombero or perhaps it was just good defense by Berisha which made him look bad.
Sombero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Berisha's waist but Berisha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sombero off to one side.
Sombero shoots in but Berisha avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Sombero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sombero moves in looking to clinch but Berisha pushes him off.
Berisha avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jorge Sombero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berisha wants to clinch up but Sombero keeps it at a distance.
Sombero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sombero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Berisha but Berisha pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Berisha feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Berisha has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sombero is proving hard to escape from.
Berisha wants to stand and escape but instead Sombero has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Sombero stops Berisha from standing up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Berisha counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Berisha.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Berisha.
Sombero has Berisha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Berisha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Berisha gets underhooks to prevent Sombero's takedown attempt.
Berisha doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sombero lands a knee to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Berisha.
Berisha gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sombero.
Sombero has had enough of the clinch but Berisha keeps him there for the moment.
Sombero could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sombero tries for a takedown but Berisha manages to get underhooks.

Berisha scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Berisha wants to stand but Sombero is controlling his arm.
Berisha wants to stand but Sombero has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Sombero has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Berisha should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sombero has tightened it up now! Berisha should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
