Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neal Bob!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a body shot but no joy.
Bob stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tanner.
Bob misses with a wild body shot.
A jab lands there for Bob.
Tanner feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down.
Tanner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pina Colada Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Bob thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bob misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tanner half committed to a counter leg kick.
Bob lands a jab to the head.
Neal Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut lands for Bob. That snapped Tanner's head back.
Bob takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Neal Bob has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bob lands a jab to the nose.
Bob fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tanner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tanner throws a leg kick
and Bob counters with a left and a right that stings Tanner.
Bob tries to bum rush Tanner with a series of wild strikes but Tanner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bob has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tanner scores with a nice body kick.
Bob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bob throws a big shot that misses.
Tanner is looking for a counter combo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tanner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tanner throws a leg kick which misses Bob's front leg but catches the back leg as Bob tries to avoid it.

Tanner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tanner moves away.
Bob misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Tanner counters with an inside leg kick.
Bob uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tanner.
Tanner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tanner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bob is out of range.
Tanner getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bob slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch lands to the side of Bob 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tanner lands a leg kick that knocks Bob off balance momentarily.
Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tanner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bob throws the left hand but Tanner avoids the punch easily.
Tanner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bob jabs at Tanner's body.
Tanner misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bob looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bob is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanner.

Bob throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tanner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bob throws a shot from downtown. Tanner moves away and avoids it.
Tanner ducks under a wild hook from Bob.
A counter left hand to the body from Tanner misses its target.
Bob throws a hook to the side of Tanner's head but Tanner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tanner slips a jab from Bob.
Bob clobbers Tanner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bob slips under a jab from Tanner.
Good leg kick by Tanner there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tanner.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bob throws a series of punches but Tanner avoids them all with ease.
Tanner throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tanner avoids the body shot from Bob.
Tanner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tanner avoids the body shot from Bob.
A quick step to the side and Tanner tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tanner fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bob misses with a lunging right hand
and Bob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tanner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bob stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tanner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tanner digs a good hook to Bob's body.
Tanner stuns Bob with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bob looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bob takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Tanner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tanner connects with a nice looking jab.
Tanner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tanner thuds his right hand into Bob's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bob throws a series of punches but Tanner moves out of range.

Tanner drops Bob with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bob looks back up at him and smiles so Tanner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Bob is rocked!
Tanner circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Bob drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Tanner follows Bob to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Tanner!
Our winner, Jason Tanner, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
