The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Strickland moves into the clinch.
Spencer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Strickland keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Spencer's efforts to push away.
Strickland jumps guard.
Spencer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Strickland controlling the position.
Strickland pushes Spencer off and gets back to his feet.
Spencer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Strickland counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Strickland.
Spencer wants to get back to his feet but Strickland passes into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spencer is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Strickland has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Spencer is tapping! This fight is all over!
