Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between D Z Canon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neculai Costel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Break Stuff. Costel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ain't No Sunshine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Canon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Costel scrambles back to his feet.
Canon lands with an uppercut that bounces Costel off the cage and back into range.
Costel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Canon missing with a left hand there. Costel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Costel darts in and clinches Canon up against the cage.

Canon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

D Z Canon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Canon thows a left - swing and a miss!

Costel has closed the distance and engaged Canon in a clinch.
Canon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Canon is trying to break the clinch but Costel is controlling him.
Canon lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Costel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Costel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Canon's elbow.

Costel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Canon is defending well.
Costel tries to work over Canon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Canon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Costel has a takedown stuffed.
A little feinted left hand from Canon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
D Z Canon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neculai Costel.
Canon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Costel.
No luck for Costel with that takedown attempt.
Canon throws a jab but it's blocked by Costel.
Costel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Costel counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Costel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Canon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Canon is trying to stand back up.

Costel is cranking Canon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Canon! He's tightened the choke and Canon is tapping out!
