Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vito Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vito Chaney has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vito Chaney seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chaney is trying to defend but Alvarez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chaney has one foot on Alvarez's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chaney swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chaney half committed to a counter leg kick.

Alvarez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chaney's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Chaney manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Alvarez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chaney uses from the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chaney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
