The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotovina falls off balance throwing a combination
and Victorio counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gotovina thinking.
The fighters circling - Gotovina throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Victorio connects with a nice looking jab.
Victorio misses with a takedown attempt
and Gotovina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gotovina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gotovina misses with a few strikes there.
Gotovina misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gotovina fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Victorio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gotovina pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Victorio changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Victorio drops Gotovina with a beautiful combination! Gotovina stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Victorio is looking for the KO!

It looks like Ante Gotovina has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gotovina is aggressively charging in as Victorio backs up avoiding any damage. Victorio tosses out a jab and Gotovina runs right into it face first! Gotovina is out cold! Victorio dropped down on all fours and is barking in Gotovina's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
