Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hort misses with a low kick.
Mike misses with a straight right.
Hort misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mike. Hort does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hort tries to clinch
and Mike counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hort fails to land the takedown.
Mike wants to counter the offense by Hort and move into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hort connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hort misses with a takedown
and Mike counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hort shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hort showed some decent athleticism there.

Mike kicks Hort off and gets back to his feet.

Hort really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hort shoots for a double leg takedown but Mike sprawls well. He's pushed Hort's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hort moves forwards but Mike connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hort slips a straight right by Mike.

and Mike counters with a nice uppercut.

Mike cracks Hort with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mike has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hort to stand back up!

Hort is rocked!
Tim Hort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hort tries to get into range but Mike steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Hort! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Mike scores the big KO victory!
