The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson walks into a stiff left hand from Denetov.
Decent striking displayed by Denetov there.
A head kick lands from Denetov that sends Nelson to the canvas. Nelson tries to scramble back to his feet but Denetov brings him back down into side control.
Nelson is rocked!
It looks like Nathan Nelson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Denetov decides to stand back up.
Oh Nelson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A swing and a miss from Nelson.
Nelson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Denetov is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Nelson is in big trouble! Denetov is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Nelson. Poor guy.
