The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran closes the distance and clinches up with Kobelikos, looking for a takedown. Tran pushes Kobelikos against the cage but Kobelikos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kobelikos unleashes a big counter combination but Tran bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kobelikos tries to clinch there but Tran circles away.
Tran throws a head kick but Kobelikos moves out of range.
Tran misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tran shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kobelikos is trying to defend but Tran finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tran is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kobelikos is just riding it out for now. Tran eventually gives up the hold.
