Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ron Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rodolfo Cinotti!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Bob darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cinotti is looking for a sweep. Bob is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cinotti can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bob is pressing down on Cinotti's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cinotti is holding on for now.
Cinotti is trying to get back to full guard.
Bob throwing shots but Cinotti is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cinotti wants to improve his position but Bob is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bob looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bob trying to control the action but Cinotti is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cinotti wants to control but Bob is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bob is stalling here. Cinotti is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bob seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cinotti has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Cinotti is working Bob over with some ground and pound from side control.
Bob tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cinotti has control of an arm but Bob manages to advance to Cinotti's back!
Cinotti turns into Bob and is now in his guard.

Bob is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cinotti lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bob is looking for a triangle but Cinotti pushes his legs off easily.
Bob trying to strike off his back.
Bob has momentary wrist control but Cinotti slips an elbow through the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bob looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
I've been told that Cinotti has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cinotti pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bob is keeping the position for now.

Bob looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cinotti connects with a couple of short punches.

Cinotti avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bob is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cinotti throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bob's body to avoid the submission. Bob has instead reached around Cinotti's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bob arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ron Bob!
