Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Normand Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick DeLano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick DeLano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Normand Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick DeLano!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dillon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

DeLano looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
DeLano pushes Dillon off looking to stand but Dillon dives back in and keeps control.

Dillon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DeLano wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dillon is now in half guard.

Dillon decides to stand and escape the position.

Dillon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DeLano's guard.

DeLano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dillon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dillon holds on and takes a little breather.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

DeLano stays in close to Dillon's body and controls the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

DeLano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dillon sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
DeLano prevents Dillon from standing back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dillon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
DeLano tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Normand Dillon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dillon is hanging on to DeLano's back as he tries to escape.
DeLano covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
DeLano is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Dillon has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of DeLano's body.

Normand Dillon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

I would just about give that final round to Nick DeLano.
I think Dillon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
