Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Armand Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Truck will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Chris Dean and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez takes the fight into the clinch.
Nunez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Truck is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Nunez to the mat. Nunez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Truck wants to stand and escape but instead Nunez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nunez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
