The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Beach's guard.
Booker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Booker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Booker stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Booker clinches up against the cage.
Booker has Beach pressed against the cage, preventing Beach from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A short body shot lands from Booker as the two fighters clinch.
Booker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Beach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Booker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Some wild striking there from Booker.
Booker just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBeach.
Beach avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Booker tries to close the distance and clinch but Beach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Booker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beach on his heels. He'll look to pass Beach's guard now, I'm sure.
Beach pushes Booker off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beach dives in for a single leg takedown but Booker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Beach is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Booker.
It looks like Perry Beach has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Beach with that takedown attempt.
Booker gets the takedown into side control.
Booker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Beach tries to bench press Booker off him but Booker keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Beach's face as Booker controls the position.
Beach is trying to get back to his feet.
Booker is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Beach is trying to escape and Booker transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Beach is forced to tap! Nice work there by Booker! Very nice indeed!
