Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rab Rehab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann Kessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rehab comes to the ring accompanied by saturday nights alright for fighting. Kessler has chosen Coal Chamber - Burgundy as his entrance music. Johann Kessler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johann Kessler!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Johann Kessler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kessler drives through and clinches with Rehab against the ropes.
Kessler is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kessler with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A head punch on the inside from Rehab fails to land.
Kessler tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kessler goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kessler scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rehab fails to pull guard.
Kessler throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rehabs head.

Rehab pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kessler moves into the clinch successfully.
Rehab tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kessler trying to land knees to the body.
Kessler makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A right hook to the body lands for Kessler.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rehab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A shot in the inside from Rehab.
Rehab lands a nice uppercut.
Kessler landing knees to the head.
Kessler softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Kessler lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kessler digs a right hand into Rehab's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rehab's gas tank.
Rehab lands with a right to the head.
Kessler fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kessler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rehab.
Rehab misses with a punch on the inside.
Rehab lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kessler backwards.
Rehab throws a punch but it's blocked by Kessler.

Rehab gets control of Kessler's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rehab will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rehab has his foot on Kessler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kessler works his way back into a safe position though.
Kessler throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rehab is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kessler rolls with it to try and escape but Rehab cranks on the arm and Kessler is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
