Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Case Outlaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Outlaw is looking to clinch but Bright is avoiding it.
Bright bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Outlaw's head backwards.

Bright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Outlaw was covering up waiting for the punch and Bright finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bright drops back looking for a leg! Outlaw is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Outlaw manages to kick Bright off! Bright jumps back into Outlaw's guard.
Outlaw is pulling down on Bright's head. It's preventing any offense from Bright, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bright postures up in Outlaw's guard and throws a big left but Outlaw blocks it.

Bright lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bright decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Bright throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Outlaw tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bright is in Outlaw's guard.
Outlaw is wriggling around but Bright manages to pass to half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Outlaw scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Outlaw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bright looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Outlaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Outlaw tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Bright manages to get back to half guard.
Outlaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bright keeps working.

Outlaw is looking for a kimura but Bright is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Outlaw to get the leverage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Case Outlaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Outlaw scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bright tests Outlaw's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Outlaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bright circles away.
Outlaw tries to close the distance and clinch but Bright swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bright throws a big counter combination but Outlaw scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Fabian Bright will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bright will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Outlaw up against the cage.
Bright gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Outlaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Bright counters with a good low kick that Outlaw was not able to check.

Bright shoots for a double leg takedown but Outlaw sprawls well. He's pushed Bright's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Outlaw is looking to clinch.
Outlaw dives in and grabs Bright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bright pushes down on Outlaw's head and hops out.
Bright went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Outlaw's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Outlaw duly obliges.

Bright has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Outlaw uses from the top position.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fabian Bright.
Well Bright has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
