Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Spiderman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Hardy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses the jab.

Kane throws a nice looking combination but Hardy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hardy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hardy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kane throws a solid leg kick but Hardy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kane.
Hardy is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hardy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kane takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hardy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hardy might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kane has got the better of the exchanges.

Hardy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kane jabs Hardy right on the nose. Hardy blinks but takes it well.
Hardy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kane lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kane tries to bum rush Hardy with a series of wild strikes but Hardy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Some bone on bone action there as Hardy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Hardy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That kick from Kane tenderised Hardy's leg. Hardy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hardy connects with a nice looking jab.
Kane turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardy throws out the jab.
Hardy throws a looping overhand right but Kane ducks down to avoid it.

Hardy lands with an uppercut that bounces Kane off the cage and back into range.

Oh Kane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Hardy counters with a beautiful punch that sends Kane to the canvas!

Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hardy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hardy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hardy has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted.

Kane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hardy is aware though and is defending well.

Hardy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kane takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hardy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kane.
and Hardy counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kane! He's just covering up as Hardy starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
