Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hai Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Powder Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powder Nose gets a double leg takedown into Robbins's guard.
Robbins pulls Powder Nose in close to prevent any damage.

Powder Nose stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robbins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Powder Nose scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robbins will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Robbins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Powder Nose gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Powder Nose wants to stand but Robbins has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Powder Nose is taking a breather. Robbins says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robbins wants to sweep but Powder Nose has passed to side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Robbins is looking to regain half guard here but Powder Nose keeps moving and retains side control.

Powder Nose's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robbins is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Powder Nose scores with a couple of nice shots.
Robbins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Powder Nose's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Powder Nose's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Powder Nose is trapped and Robbins is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Robbins is persistently looking for the submission but Powder Nose is defending it well.

Powder Nose shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Powder Nose was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Robbins dives in for a single leg takedown but Powder Nose sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Powder Nose. Robbins does a little dance to reset his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Robbins 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Robbins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Powder Nose has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
