The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sutton swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Toothless is now in Sutton's guard. A big mistake from Sutton there, giving up the dominant position!

Horrible takedown attempt by Sutton or perhaps it was just good defense by Toothless, which made it look bad.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Toothless goes for a double leg but Sutton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sutton continues to drive forward.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sutton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toothless on the ground.

Sutton stands up and beckons Toothless to his feet.
