Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ante throws a right hand that Rocha ducks under and follows up with a left that Rocha also avoids with ease.
Ante cracks the inside of Rocha's front leg.
Ante looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ante lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ante.

Ante shoots in and bounces Rocha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rocha is breathing heavily.
Ante wanted to stand there but Rocha had control of the position.

Ante stands and steps away. Rocha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rocha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ante clinches up against the cage.
Ante jumps guard but Rocha stands there with Ante around his waist. Ante gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ante breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rocha could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ante's corner calls for a 1-2. Ante obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ante throws a combination. Rocha tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nice combo by Ante! Oh, that's hurt him - Rocha falls to the canvas and Ante follows him into side control.

and Ante counters with a three punch combo that has Rocha backing up. Rocha nods at Ante to acknowledge the strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ante shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ante showed some decent athleticism there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ante gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rocha wanted to stand there but Ante had control of the position.

and Ante counters with a straight right hand.

Rocha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rocha decides to stand back up. Rocha steps back and let's Ante get back to his feet.

and Rocha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ante fails with the takedown.

Ante throws a series of punches but Rocha avoids them all with ease.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Ante has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
