Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monsun Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Raban!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raban misses with a double jab
letting Moon counter with a right hand.
Moon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Raban.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raban has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Raban tries to land a leg kick but Moon saw it coming and moves away.

Raban closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Moon lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Raban or not.

Raban goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Moon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Raban backwards.

Raban has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moon regains guard immediately.

Raban avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moon controls Raban momentarily but Raban frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moon pulls Raban in to control the position.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raban's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Moon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raban with a flurry of punches that miss.
Raban stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moon pulls Raban in close to his closed guard and prevents Raban from doing any damage or advancing position.
Raban wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving.
Moon wants to improve his position but instead Raban has moved into half guard.

Raban content to control rather than advance.
Moon wants to improve his position but Raban is controlling well.
Moon is working hard here to advance position.
Raban wants to free his trapped foot but Moon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Raban missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Moon misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Moon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Raban is thwarting Moon's attempts to control the position.
Raban not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Raban drops an elbow to the side of Moon's head.
Moon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Raban wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raban in particular looking to stall.
Raban stalling away here and it's allowed Moon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

A close round but James Raban will probably get the nod.
That's time! Moon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Moon lands with an overhand left.
Raban throws a right and a left that both miss.
It looked like Moon was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Raban.
Raban throws a right hand that Moon ducks under and follows up with a left that Moon also avoids with ease.
Good standup being displayed there by Moon as he connects with a hook.
Moon blocks a leg kick.
Moon dodges the punch combination from Raban.
Raban feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Monsun Moon has been cut.
Raban pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Raban looks to move away, Moon throws a big counter combo but Raban just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raban will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Moon dips to his left and cracks Raban with an uppercut!

It looks like James Raban has been cut.
Moon slips a jab from Raban.
Raban avoids the head kick by Moon.

Raban sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Moon to the ground! Raban dives into full mount looking to finish!

Moon is rocked!

Raban postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Moon badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Raban around the waist but Raban pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Raban is the winner by TKO! Raban jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Raban!
In his post fight interview, James Raban started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
