The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Damon.
Peters lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Peters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damon is fending him off so far but Peters persists. Nope, Damon circles away and we're back to standing.
Damon throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sean Damon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Peters looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Damon gets a clinch.
Damon fails to pull guard.
Damon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Damon with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Damon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Peters has eaten all the pies!
Damon tries to clinch there but Peters circles away.
Damon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peters moves into range and clinches up with Damon.
Damon has picked Peters up - he's going for a ride! Damon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Peters looks like he's trying to stand up.
Damon uses his free foot to push down on Peters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Peters.
Damon has isolated one of Peters's arms. Peters looking to fight him off but Damon twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
