The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mathis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bobbs to the mat! Bobbs manages to get full guard.
Bobbs is looking to stand up but Mathis isn't so interested in that idea.

Bobbs is working an open guard so Mathis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mathis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bobbs moves into the clinch.
Bobbs tries to land knees in the clinch but Mathis avoids the damage to the body.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mathis.

Bobbs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bobbs wants it to stay on the feet.
