Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hybisho Amaruka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Aria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amaruka throws a head kick that misses.

Amaruka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Aria is trying to control Amaruka's posture but Amaruka avoids it.
Aria is trying to get back to half guard.
Aria gets back to half guard.
Amaruka throwing shots but Aria is blocking nicely.
Aria tries to roll over but Amaruka keeps him under control.
Aria tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Aria tries to clinch but Amaruka moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Amaruka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Amaruka shoots in and bounces Aria off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Aria looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amaruka is one step ahead there.

Aria working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amaruka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amaruka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Aria has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Amaruka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aria.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aria wants to control but Amaruka postures up.
Amaruka tries to score with some ground and pound. Aria controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Amaruka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aria keeps working.
Aria manages to get back to half guard.

Aria is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Amaruka pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aria tries to get to full guard but Amaruka has control of the leg.
Aria is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Amaruka shoots in but no luck this time.
The fight stays on the outside here - Amaruka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Aria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Amaruka forces Aria back against the cage and clinches.

Amaruka has hold of one of Aria's legs. Aria is fighting the takedown attempt but Amaruka gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Amaruka works over Aria with some ground and pound from guard.

Aria lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Amaruka!

It looks like Hybisho Amaruka has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Aria takes Amaruka's back.
Aria is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Oh Amaruka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aria is cranking Amaruka's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Amaruka! He's tightened the choke and Amaruka is tapping out!
