Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Erick Silva and Aidan McVeigh. The crowd seem to be enjoying McVeigh's choice of entrance music: E-Dubble - Let Me Oh. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Erick Silva! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 1 losses; Aidan McVeigh!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
McVeigh closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. McVeigh pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by McVeigh.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McVeigh tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McVeigh to the ground. McVeigh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McVeigh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

McVeigh pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
McVeigh is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.
Erick Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aidan McVeigh.
McVeigh can't get the takedown.
McVeigh is looking to take this one to the mat.

McVeigh wants a takedown but no success here.
McVeigh is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McVeigh is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silva looks calm but he's in trouble here. McVeigh gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! McVeigh lets go of the hold and Silva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
