Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Jim Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Green!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hogan dives in and grabs Green's left leg, looking for a takedown. Green pushes down on Hogan's head and hops out.
Mr Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green throws a leg kick

and Hogan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hogan.
Hogan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Green is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Green can't break the clinch.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Green misses with a body shot.

Hogan gets the takedown into side control.

Green throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Green fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hogan manages to avoid it.
Hogan lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Hogan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Green bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Green throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Green bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Crunch! Green slams his shin into Hogan's torso.

and Hogan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Green!
Hogan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hogan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Green throws a hook to the side of Hogan's head but Hogan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hogan blocks a head kick by Green.
Hogan appears to be looking for a big counter.
Green connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mr Green is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hogan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hogan avoids a kick to the body.
Green throws a lazy head kick

and Hogan counters by moving into the clinch.
Hogan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Green is defending well.

Hogan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hogan forces Green back against the cage and clinches.

Hogan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Green's efforts to push away.

Hogan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Hogan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Green.
Green wants to control from the top but Hogan keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Green's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Green looking to sit in guard and control but Hogan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hogan is controlling him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hogan gets to his feet - Green follows without any prompting.
Hogan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Green throws out a leg kick but Hogan moves out of range and Green only half commits.
Green swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Hogan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hogan.
Green wants to get back to striking at distance but Hogan won't allow it.
Green is trying to maintain a safe position but Hogan gets an underhook and turns Green into the cage.
Green struggles to land a body shot inside as Hogan controls his hands.
Hogan tries to pull guard but Green won't allow it.
Green tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Green dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Hogan counters with a series of strikes. Green will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hogan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hogan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Green avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've been informed that Green has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Green looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hogan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Green regains guard immediately.
Green wants to get back to his feet but Hogan passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hogan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hogan slows the pace down in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Green is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hogan stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Green to get to his feet.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Green tries a head kick but it misses.
Hogan tries to counter by clinching up but Green breaks away and moves out of range.
Green throws a head kick that half lands.


Hogan is rocked!
Green is stalking Hogan. Hogan circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Green, and it's lights out! Hogan really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mr Green!
