The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamiya misses with a hook
and Mills counters with a left to the body.
Kamiya circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kamiya lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mills has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kamiya.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kamiya.
Kamiya throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Kamiya fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mills.
Kamiya turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mills. Kamiya does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kamiya just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMills.

Kamiya has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mills throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mills takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mills tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Mills throws a counter high kick but Kamiya was just alert enough to avoid it.
Kamiya tries a head kick but it misses.
Kamiya wants to land a leg kick but Mills is out of range.
Mills looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Kamiya throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mills tries to pull guard but Kamiya forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Kamiya looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Mills tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kamiya smiles and moves away.

Mills is trying to pull guard but Kamiya turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kamiya lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mills tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kamiya scores a nice knee to the body.
Mills is breathing heavily.

Mills jumps guard and drags Kamiya to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Mills has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kamiya doesn't defend quickly enough and Mills has managed to lock this one up! Can Kamiya escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mills on a fantastic submission victory.
