Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadashi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tadashi Watanabe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcelo Cameron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadashi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron jabs at Watanabe's body.
Watanabe dives in and grabs Cameron's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cameron pushes down on Watanabe's head and hops out.

Watanabe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cameron on his heels. He'll look to pass Cameron's guard now, I'm sure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Watanabe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cameron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watanabe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cameron fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Watanabe.

Watanabe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cameron is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Watanabe can do to turn this around?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cameron lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Watanabe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Watanabe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cameron takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Cameron looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Watanabe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
