Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Einarr Ulv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Strooijer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strooijer walks into a jab.

Strooijer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Strooijer trying to control from half guard but Ulv is working away.
Strooijer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ulv haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Strooijer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Ulv is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strooijer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ulv doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Strooijer.
Ulv is looking to control Strooijer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ulv avoid being mounted?

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Strooijer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ulv scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Strooijer doesn't seem bothered though.

Oooh a lovely combination from Ulv sends Strooijer down but not out. Ulv dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Bas Strooijer has been cut.
Ulv wants to lay and pray for a moment but Strooijer keeps working.

Ulv tries for a kimura but Strooijer is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Strooijer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Strooijer tries to bench press Ulv off him but Ulv keeps the position.

Ulv has an Americana. Strooijer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ulv is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ulv hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
