And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Milan Rusija!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rusija has Hickman up against the cage in a clinch.
Hickman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rusija to keep the fight standing.
Hickman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rusija just stands there and leans against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Rusija.
Rusija is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Hickman pulls guard effortlessly.
Rusija trying to control but Hickman is working from the bottom.
Rusija trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rusija trying to control the position from guard on top but Hickman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rusija tries to free his leg and advance position but Hickman is retaining full guard.
Rusija stops Hickman from standing up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hickman wants to sweep here but Rusija controlling him for the moment.

Rusija has gone for a leg lock! Hickman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rusija's guard.

Rusija seems keen to control Hickman's posture.
Hickman working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Hickman lands a couple of digs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hickman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hickman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rusija's head.
Hickman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hickman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Rusija is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rusija really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hickman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rusija is wriggling around but Hickman manages to pass to half guard.

Hickman is working for a submission of some sort.

Hickman throws a strike but Rusija manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Hickman tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
