Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julio Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Pang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Julio Joseph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Pang!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pang moves into range and clinches up with Joseph.
Pang trying to stall but Joseph improves his position.
Joseph stalling the fight.
Joseph displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pang up against the cage.
Joseph seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Pang blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Joseph lands a shoulder strike.

Pang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pang moves into the clinch successfully.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Joseph creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Joseph takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Pang is trying to break the clinch but Joseph is controlling him.
Pang lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Still in the clinch, Pang scores with a nice short uppercut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Pang has had enough of the clinch but Joseph keeps him there for the moment.

Joseph's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Pang is looking to break free of the clinch but Joseph has double underhooks.

Pang lands a leg kick that knocks Joseph off balance momentarily.
Pang scores with a decent looking hook.
Lee Pang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Pang is trying to break free.
Pang misses with a punch on the inside.
Joseph slowing the pace effectively.
Pang is trying to force a seperation but Joseph has the dominant position.
Pang utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Joseph could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pang is trying to maintain a safe position but Joseph gets an underhook and turns Pang into the cage.

Pang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Joseph slips a jab and a cross from Pang.

Pang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Joseph shoots in and drives through. Pang sprawls well.

Joseph stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Pang is trying to break the clinch but Joseph is controlling him.

Pang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pang throws a combination that misses
and Joseph counters with a one-two to the body.
Pang keeps Joseph at a distance using the push kick.
Joseph is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Joseph takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Pang moves into range and clinches up with Joseph.
Pang tries to circle away but Joseph has him pinned against the cage.
Pang wants to break free but Joseph has control.
Pang is trying to push Joseph away but Joseph has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Pang dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Julio Joseph's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Left hook, right uppercut from Pang.
Joseph moves out of range as Pang throws a body kick.
Joseph wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Joseph takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Julio Joseph is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joseph.
Pang scores with a kick to the body.
Joseph will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pang lands a nice hook to Joseph's body. Joseph takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pang throws a series of strikes that have Joseph backpedaling.


Joseph is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Joseph moves forwards but Pang connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oh Joseph is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pang has Joseph pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Joseph is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Pang - that's hurt Joseph badly! Oh, another knee lands and Joseph is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Joseph doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Lee Pang!
Lee Pang seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
